Urinary Tract Infection – Classification
UTI is urinary tract infection simply. It’s a common condition but can be irritating or even a sign of some dangerous disease sometimes.
Types of urinary tract infection
UTI (urinary tract infections) are mainly divided into two types:
- upper urinary tract infection
- lower urinary tract infection

Lower urinary tract infection symptoms
Lower urinary tract infection usually involves only 1 organism (confirmed by urine examinations) and the treatment is short (few days of antibiotics – ciprofloxacin) along with citralka to reduce burning feeling.
Upper urinary track infection symptoms
if its upper uti, it can be comlicated, and may require long term medicaiton (more than month) and it can some times be recurrent and also requiring systemic examination and treatment.
