Medical colleges banned by PMDC 2015
PMDC released a list of medical colleges advicing them to stop admissions from this year onwards. Parents and students applying for mbbs, bds, dpt, dpharm or other medical fields in any of these medical colleges are adviced to confirm the status of medical college from PMDC before applying to save their time, money and effort.
Banned medical colleges in Pakistan 2015
Fourteen medical colleges banned by PMDC in 2015 include:
- Pak Red Crescent Medical & Dental College, Lahore. (banned from 2012-13 to 2015-16)
- Al-Razi Medical College, Peshawar. (banned from 2013-14 to 2015-16)
- Hashmat Medical & Dental College, Gujrat. (banned from 2013-14 to 2015-16)
- Sahiwal Medical College, Sahiwal. (banned from 2013-14 to 2015-16)
- Muhammad Bin Qasim Dental & Medical College, Karachi.(BDS) (banned from 2013-14 to 2015-16)
- Abbottabad International Medical College, Abbottabad. (banned from 2013-14 to 2015-16)
- Women Medical College, Abbottabad. (banned from 2013-14 to 2015-16)
- Pak International Medical College, Peshawar. (banned from 2014-15 to 2015-16)
- Federal Medical & Dental College, Islamabad. (banned from 2013-14 to 2015-16)
- Indus Medical College, Tando Mohammad Khan Sindh. (banned from 2015-16)
- Rashid Latif Medical College, Lahore (banned from 2015-16)
- Shaikh Zayed Medical College, Rahim Yar Khan (banned from 2015-16)
- Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Medical College, Lahore. (banned from 2015-16)
- Islamic International Medical College, Rawalpindi (banned from 2015-16)
These medical colleges are banned because they had deficiencies as per PMDC criteria.
They had these issues since long however, it seems to be a good step in making those medical colleges try to improve their standards and have mercy on the students and the country for which they’re producing the doctors and medical professionals.
